Why Support ACSA
The Algiers Charter Schools Association (ACSA) has begun the work of bringing true quality public education to the children of New Orleans. Even before Hurricane Katrina there was a tremendous need for support both financially, and through volunteer efforts and donations of the other materials that make a school a great place for our children to learn and thrive. Now, as we rebuild our communities we understand more than ever that strong schools are the centerpiece of the rebirth of the city of New Orleans.
Currently our greatest needs are financial, as we try to develop and implement innovative and exciting learning programs as well as find the best trained and most qualified personnel. Charter schools have traditionally been under funded so we depend on the generosity of partners who share our vision. But we certainly need donations of equipment and material goods as well. Every gift, no matter the size, helps to make the Algiers Charter Schools stronger.
We have seen the people of New Orleans, and people throughout the nation and the world come together to support each other in our time of need. Let’s put that spirit of cooperation and hope for the future to work to create better lives for our children.
The Algiers Charter Schools are designated as a Non-profit 501(c)3 with the IRS. That means your gift is tax deductable.
