NEW ORLEANS -- Algiers Charter staff spent the day at Landry-Walker High School focused on health and wellness.
As part of the 2017 Annual Health and Wellness fair, more than 400 educators and employees received their annual flu shot, explored new fitness options and learned valuable health & lifestyle from various providers.The HR department spent months finding vendors, planning activities, and getting raffle donations. Activities included yoga, boot camp, Zumba, meditation, and more. This is the second annual fair aimed at helping staff unwind and encourage them to live healthier.
The event culminated with a volleyball game for the first Health and Wellness Trophy. Congratulations to Landry-Walker for the win.
