Pathway to a Future

Landry-Walker High school has four Academies of learning. Each one is based on Louisiana’s graduation pathways and are designed to give students a true path to prosperity - a path that may differ based on each student’s life and career aspirations.

The Freshman Academy exposes 9th graders to the offerings in all of the Landry-Walker academies to help the young students choose their pathway.
The (STEM) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Academy which includes the NAF School of Information Technology, Health Sciences, and Engineering
The Art and Humanities Academy allows students to choose between digital media, history, social sciences, and visual and performing arts.
The (BEVS) Business, Entrepreneurship & Vocational Studies Academy offers students courses in real estate, cosmetology/barbering, welding, electrical, carpentry, and small business ownership.
