New Orleans, La – The Algiers Charter Schools Association has made changes to its leadership structure at some of its schools in order to meet new challenges heading into the 2007-2008 school year.

Lee Green will be leaving Edna Karr where he served as Assistant Principal to become Principal at McDonogh #32 Charter School.  Monica Boudouin will be joining him as Assistant Principal.  Kecia Wright will be moving from Mc 32 to Alice Harte to serve as Assistant Principal, and her Assistant, Averil Sanders will be joining the staff at Algiers Technology Academy as that school’s AP.  A search is currently underway for a new Assistant Principal at Edna Karr.

“The reason we made these changes is really to maximize the talents of the people that we have in order to ensure that our students are achieving,” said Brian Riedlinger, ACSA’s CEO.  “We now have two outstanding young leaders in Henderson Lewis and Averil Sanders at the Technology Academy that can grow together.  Lee Green brings that ability to build school culture to McDonogh #32 along with a very strong AP in Ms. Boudouin.  Kecia Wright is able to bring experience along with the opportunity to continue building her skills at Alice Harte.  This move will make these individuals better leaders, and our schools better places to learn.  I am excited about the potential here.”
