ACSA Offers Numbers to Assist Parents with Bus Riders
August 3, 2007

New Orleans, La – With schools set to open Monday, August 6th, the Algiers Charter Schools is doing everything that it can to ensure that its students arrive at school on-time and ready to learn.
“We know that some parents may not be aware of their child’s bus route or bus number, so we want to make ourselves available to answer any questions that may arise surrounding transportation,” said ACSA’s Chief Operations Officer John Schwab.
Returning students can expect to be picked up at their usual stop from the previous school year, at the same time. New students who may not have received their letter notifying them of their bus stop and pick-up time are asked to call Faye Peters with Laidlaw Transportation services at 261-2565. If they are unable to reach Ms. Peters, they can contact Rick Hendricks at 344-9165. Mr. Schwab will also be available throughout the weekend to answer questions and can be reached via email at jschwab@algierscharterschools.org or at 504-655-3718.
